I had a fantastic stay in this hotel. The staff was excellent and spoke great English. The hotel was centrally located, just a 5-minute walk from the subway station. It was also in the center of the city, so I could easily explore downtown on foot. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and its facilities. I was happy to see that the restaurant had been upgraded, and the breakfast offered a good mix of Chinese and Western food. this hotel provided a comfortable and convenient experience.

This hotel is in a great location, right in the heart of the city. It is close to the city center, with many restaurants and shops within walking distance. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with amenities such as tea/coffee making facilities and a working room safe. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet offers a good spread of both national and international cuisine.

One downside is that there is no fridge in the room.

The location was pretty good too, about a 10 minute walk to the metro and in a quieter neighborhood but still pretty central. This made it perfect for us to travel around. We loved that there were supermarkets, eating shops and restaurants, a shopping area, and the metro all just within steps of the hotel. It was very convenient and saved us a lot of time getting to places. Additionally, the staff were outstanding. They were friendly and professional, always ready to assist us with anything we needed.

We were there to see the panda base. The hotel is clean, bright, modern, and nice. Flat screen tvs, a decent breakfast that has mix of western and Chinese food, laundry machines you can use and a pleasant and helpful staff. Stay here.

The location is not the greatest as you need to grab a taxi from the airport shuttle stop to get to it, and there is not much in terms of restaurants in the area around the property, the restaurant is ok but that is about all I can say for it, but this is a good hotel and these two minor negatives are more than out weighted by all the other positive factors.

Great location close to a large mall and a variety of restaurants, as well as being a convenient base for exploring the city. Comfortable and clean rooms with bottled water provided. The breakfast buffet offered a decent range of dishes suitable for both Eastern and Western tastes.

Holiday Inn Express Gulou Chengdhu is ideally located for getting around Chengdhu. It's a very comfortable hotel and the front office staff are very good.

Location is good, walking distance to Chunxi Road. Room is comfortable and clean, value for money.
